Who this covers
NDT Cert Study ("the app") is an independent study aid for nondestructive testing certification exams, published by Simon Shih through simonbuilds.app ("we," "us"). This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information when you use it on your device.
Information stored on your device
Your study progress, topic readiness, saved questions, exam history, and app settings are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This information stays on the device. It is not sent to us, and it is removed when you delete the app or use the reset options in Settings.
Purchases
Study modules are sold as one-time, non-consumable in-app purchases. Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your card or payment details.
To unlock your purchases and let you restore them across your devices, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user identifier and details of your purchase transactions so it can confirm what you have bought. That identifier is not your name and is not used to identify you personally. You can review how these companies handle this data in Apple's Privacy Policy and the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Contacting support
If you email us or use the in-app option to report a problem, your message and your email address reach us by email so that we can respond. We use them only to reply and to look into the issue you raised. We do not add you to any mailing list and do not share them.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email, or contact details unless you choose to email us.
- We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or files.
- The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking software.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Children
The app is a general-audience study tool intended for people preparing for professional certification exams. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. When we do, we post the new version on this page and update the date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
